Draughts · Solitaire · Four in a Row · Slots
Pub-table classics and easygoing slot games, one page, no fuss.
UKShortlist puts draughts, solitaire, Four in a Row, minesweeper and four slot games side by side. Everything loads from our own servers into the tab you already have open, so nothing is installed and nobody is asked to register. A card for each game shows the number of players, a typical round length, the difficulty and the average rating from other players.

The games
Every game at a glance
Draughts, solitaire, Four in a Row and minesweeper form the board and card half of the list, and four slot games sit beside them. All the cards use the same four badges, so one can be set against another without guesswork. Filter the list, change the order, then choose.

How it works
It takes three steps
There is barely a process to explain, yet the question comes up often enough to answer it here.
-
Look through the cards
Every card shows the same four badges: number of players, round length, difficulty and rating. A few spare minutes suit minesweeper or a slot game, while draughts and solitaire take longer. For two people at one screen, pick draughts or Four in a Row.
-
Press play
The game opens on UKShortlist in the tab you are using now. You will not be asked to fetch an app, enable a plugin, save a file or create an account.
-
Play, leave, come back
Nothing travels with you from one visit to the next. Close the tab when you have had enough, then return to the list any time another round appeals.
Our approach
A short list means something only when somebody keeps it tidy
UKShortlist starts from one observation: people return to the games they already know. Board and card classics come first, and the slot games round things out. Not one of them needs a tutorial, a login or any preparation.
-
Familiar before fashionable
These games have been played for generations. The rules are probably in your head already, so you can start without reading anything.
-
Served by us, played in your tab
Our own servers deliver every game. If something needs an install, a sign-in or one specific device, it is left off.
-
Open to everybody
Whatever you pick, nothing sits behind a lock and registration is never required. That includes the slot games, which ask for nothing in return, like the others.
-
The same four badges throughout
Players, round length, difficulty and rating follow one scale for every game, so comparing the cards stays fair.
-
Checked again regularly
From time to time we sit down with each game once more. When one drifts from what its card says, we mend it or remove it.
